Bulls:
Buyers are called bulls. Bulls push the price higher. The name is due to the resemblance of the bull raising his horns while attacking.
Bears:
Sellers are called bears. Bear pushes the price lower. The name is due to the resemblance of the bear, which swipes his paw while attacking.
DEX:
Decentralized exchange is something that no organization can control. i.e., pancake swap
CEX:
Centralized exchange, which is controlled by the organization or entity. i.e, Binance, Kucoin, Bitget
Whale:
Professional traders or bank institutions have a portfolio of millions of dollars and can use their money to move and manipulate the market.
Retail Traders:
The traders who have a portfolio of some hundred to thousand dollars. Whales trap the retailers. We are the retail traders.
FOMO:
Fear of missing out. You see the price increase and buy the asset without any analysis. You feared you would miss the massive profit if you didn’t get on the bus. Whales’ll trap you and then get stuck in that trade. This is the worst emotion.
Fear:
Fear happens when you’re unsure about taking a trade, even if your trading plan says you should. You start doubting yourself. To avoid this, take a break, trust yourself—remember, crypto involves both profit and risk—and make the trade if you’ve tested your strategy beforehand.
WAGMI:
We are all going to make it. This phrase motivates traders to succeed and become profitable traders one day.
HODL:
Hold on for dear life. Misspelled word of hold. This means that no matter the market conditions, you will not panic and will sell your assets. You will hold until you exit at breakeven or in profit.
To the Moon:
This word is used when the asset price goes up and up. It means that the price is going to the moon.
Wen Lambo:
Traders use this phrase to ask when they will become profitable so they can buy their own Lamborghini with the profit.
DYOR:
Do your own research. Before investing or trading, don’t blindly follow advice. Always investigate the coin yourself first.
Non-volatile:
Some coins do not move so fast, they are called non-volatile.
